Cash Flow Forecast Apps on Android

Updated 5 October 2026

A cash-flow forecast app looks forward instead of only recording what already happened. Starting from today's balance, it combines expected income, recurring expenses and planned one-off movements to estimate how much money may be available in future months.

Forecasting is different from expense tracking

Traditional budgeting tools often focus on categorizing past transactions. Forecasting asks a different question: what is likely to happen next if planned income and expenses occur as expected?

Recurring movements create the baseline

Salaries, rent, subscriptions, loans and other repeating items form the predictable part of a forecast. Adding one-off costs such as travel, insurance or repairs makes the projection more realistic.

Future balance is the useful output

The goal is not simply to total expenses. A useful forecast shows how the balance could evolve month by month, helping users spot tight periods before they arrive.
