Nerelune: Secrets of the Cove combines a portrait merge-2 board with character orders, rewards and the gradual restoration of a forgotten seaside resort.
Merge useful objects
The board is where each restoration step begins. Players generate items, combine matching objects into more advanced forms and decide which item chains are most useful for current character requests.
Fulfill character orders
Characters ask for specific objects. Completing those orders turns merge-board progress into rewards and gives each session a clear objective rather than asking the player to merge without a purpose.
Restore the resort one area at a time
Coins earned from orders are used to repair and transform parts of the resort. Restoration provides permanent visual progression: the board changes constantly, while repaired locations remain and show how far the player has come.
Uncover the cove's memories
The resort is not only a renovation project. Chapters and collectible memories gradually reveal more about the cove, its locations and the people connected to it. This gives the restoration loop a mystery-driven narrative layer.
